Well the weather was glorious for the St George’s Day Celebration on Lytham Green. This is the first event we have attended with our ‘The Belgian Life’ stall. Plenty of beers on sale, but alas we could only sell to take away so the festival goers had to forego a lovely cool Belgian beer or two! We were offering free samples of Brugse Zot, however, brewed by De Halve Maan brouwerij from Bruges – it went down very well! We also had samples of Lindemans Kriek, a sharp cherry beer and Strawberry Frulli, made with organic strawberries – people were happy as they left our stall!
We met some lovely people over the course of the weekend and it looks like we may have a few events to attend in the future – watch out you Yummy Mummies who know Amy of Tropics Skincare, and Kirsty and Dan from Blenheim Candles are having a summer barbecue that will be well worth gatecrashing! Fantastic essential oil candles and melts followed by some Belgian beer, what more could you ask for? We had a few other enquiries about our Beer Tasting Parties, on special offer at £39.99 for the party, 15 people max being given 6 beers to try, and buy if they like them! Who wouldn’t! This St George’s Day offer is available until the end of April, two weeks notice required.
“We have a few more events that we are planning to attend over the coming months, we’ll keep you posted when they are booked, watch this space!”
If you are trying to raise some funds for charity why not consider hiring us for a Beer Tasting Evening. We provide the beer and if you want to add some nibbles we can give you a few easy ideas to make it into a Bapas Evening, beer and tapas being the new craze sweeping across Belgium and into Germany.
